From the South or East take Junction 36 from the M6, follow
the A591 for approx 18 miles passing through Ambleside and
Rydal. Your will reach Grasmere village, turn left at the
mini roundabout into Stock Lane, follow road until you
reach the Church and Garden Centre, turn left and drive
along Red Bank Road past the Gold Rill Hotel,when the road
goes sharp left you dont------go straight across through
large gateway over cattle grid and along private tarmac
road. St Oswalds is the large house facing you on the right.
From the North and Scotland take Junction
40 from the M6
and travel along the A66 towards Keswick for approx 14
miles
until you see a sign for Windermere through St Johns
in the Vale. Turn left
and travel until you join the
A591.Turn left onto this road and continue until
you reach
the mini roundabout at Grasmere. Follow previous
instructions
and you cant fail to find our home.
